Lola Lakhdar Studio didn't start in a factory. It started with Lola herself, standing in a dusty tannery with a fascination for the raw, honest beauty of cowhide — and a belief that it belonged in the modern home.

Inspired by the wild west aesthetic — its ruggedness, its freedom, its unapologetic texture — Lola began hand-selecting hides and crafting pillows that felt like artifacts. Each one a piece of the frontier brought indoors.

Today, from her studio in the UAE, she crafts every piece with the same obsessive attention to natural grain, edge finish, and lasting form.

How We Got Here

2021

The First Hide

Lola discovers cowhide at a Moroccan leather fair and brings home three skins with no plan — only a deep instinct that something beautiful was possible.

2022

Studio Opens in Dubai

The first official Lola Lakhdar Studio workspace is set up in Al Quoz. The first six pillows sell out to interior designers within a week.

2023

The Wild West Collection

The signature western-themed collection launches — fringe, brand marks, patchwork, and Aztec inlays. Featured in two UAE interiors magazines.

2024

Custom Bespoke Service

Lola introduces the branded hide service — clients commission pillows with their initials or motif hot-iron branded onto the hide.

2025

UAE-Wide Delivery

Nationwide delivery launches across all seven emirates. Studio pieces now live in homes from Abu Dhabi penthouses to Fujairah villas.
